I love black people yet this is probably going to piss a bunch of black people off, but…who cares.
Biracial is the new black. Black is not the new black. Black is the old black. Biracial is the new black. Matter of fact, biracial has always been the ACCEPTED black and will be for the foreseeable future.
Now why am I saying this? Simple.
We all know we live in a world ran by white people in some shape or form. I’ve traveled to quite a few places in the world and white influence, especially white American influence is very apparent everywhere you go. So when people use the term “white supremacy”, no matter what race you are or what mix you may be, it is rather foolish to deny its existence in the physical form. Now back to what I was saying:
Biracial is the new black. Black is not the new black. Black is the old black. Biracial is the new black. Matter of fact, biracial has always been the ACCEPTED black and will be for the foreseeable future.
I say this because, in a world dominated by white supremacy, we biracials have always been seen as the “safer” & accepted side of blackness. If you are a mulatto like myself, we share 50% of our DNA with a white person. We are directly related to white people…for better or for worse I suppose. A lot of us may identify with black culture, especially if we grew up and was raised around black people, but even still, we all know we don’t 100% deal with the racist bs that non-mixed black people deal with. Sure every now and then some random racist will call us the n-word or a biracial n-word, but at least for me, that’s a rarity and that has never really bothered me to the degree it would bother a non-mixed black person. Not because I’m inviting of the racial attack, but because I know the reality of the world I live in. I’m biracial. I’m light skin. I look biracial. I’ve been treated somewhat differently my entire life from whites AND blacks. I recognize that I exist in a body the literally millions of non-mixed black people WISH they could exist in…hence the popularity of skin lightening creams running rampant amongst the African diaspora. I’m the “safe” black.
I’m not saying all of this in an attempt to put myself on a pedestal, but I am saying that this is reality whether you choose to acknowledge it or not. We all know this to be true. Light skin black people have always been the accepted standard for blackness in this country…especially if you are a mulatto. Think I’m lying? Let’s run down a quick list shall we:
and last but not least…
Barack Obama: First “black” U.S. President…a mulatto.
This list could go on & on…hell, I could even toss in a bunch of celebrities…
And the list can go on & on & on & on & on.
So what is the point I’m trying to make here?
The point is this: where would black people be without us mulattos, biracials & light skin mixed race people? Seriously.
Now, I’m not trying to shit on black people, but I do get tired of hearing the rhetoric from the pro-blacks and hoteps about us mixed race people, especially us mulattos, as if we have no value to black society other than to cause dissension amongst the black race because we can “pick and choose” what side to be on. 😂 Reality is, we’ve done more shit to push black society forward than non-mixed black people. Why? Well, we all know why. Once again, we are the “safe” black people. We are pretty much the image of blackness worldwide. I mean, let’s just keep it real. Hell, even the greatest entertainer of all time by the name of Michael Jackson magically transformed himself from a black man to a light skin man to a white man in his lifetime. Beyonce, she may be mixed race or just hella light skin…but either way, her light skin is has helped propel her to being the current greatest living entertainer in the world. And like I said, I could go on & on with these examples of where light skin people and/or biracial people have been and are currently at the forefront for representing blackness worldwide, so it boggles my mind when the pro-black and hotep crowd get on their blogs, social medias & YouTubes to talk shit about us as if these knee grows honestly don’t know their place on the racial totem pole of society. A lot of them talk about us being traitors, they can’t trust us and all kinds of other foolishness, but fact of the matter is, if it wasn’t for us going to bat for black people because white society isn’t interested in entertaining anything from non-mixed black people for the most part…where would black society be today?
So you all can hate us because our mothers or fathers got with a white person and created us…that’s cool. Still doesn’t change shit in the bigger scheme of things. The largest group of black people who are victims of police brutality and acts of racism aren’t us biracials…it’s you non-mixed black people. I may not be white and get to experience what that coveted white privilege may be like, but I do get a bunch of mulatto coupons sent to my mailbox everyday that I can cash in to see what those mulatto privileges are hitting for. I don’t sit around & wonder about having “good hair”…I was born with it. I have zero desire to lighten my skin…I was born with it. I’m not sitting around wondering how come dark skin women don’t like me…they love me, always have and always will. I’m really not thinking too hard on being discriminated against because of my skin color…I’m just not. But I do think about those things in reference to you all and I (and others) somewhat do you use our voices in some manner to highlight this foolishness that affects you all more than us, but yet, we get faced anger and venom. Amazing how this works.
Not too long ago I had a debate with another YouTuber by the name of Sarge Willie Pete who was basically telling me that the black race needs to be reorganized to where non-mixed black people are the standard for what blackness is and us biracials need to be kicked out of black society. Well, that’s not going to happen. It’s not going to happen because non-mixed black people have no authority in this country over anything. Hell, too many non-mixed black women don’t even respect non-mixed black men and TOO MANY non-mixed black people want to be lighter and/or mixed or create a biracial baby so that baby doesn’t have to grow up dealing with the unfortunate stigma of blackness in terms of being non-mixed that so many non-mixed black people are forced to endure. These are just the facts. Sure it is a bunch of non-mixed black people who exude tremendous amounts of pride in their blackness as they should, but there’s probably just as many who don’t. You can blame that on white supremacy sure, but fact is, it’s too many non-mixed black people who hate being black and wish they could either be white OR biracial like me. You know it and I know it. A lot of you knee grows need to work on your self-esteem issues because most of us mulattos aren’t the ones causing you headaches in life, especially to the degree too many of you cause us headaches.
But anyways, biracial is the new black. Black is not the new black. Black is the old black. Biracial is the new black. Matter of fact, biracial has always been the ACCEPTED black and will be for the foreseeable future.
Black First. 😬
P.S.: The current face & unofficial leader of black economic empowerment by the name of Tariq Nasheed praises and loves black people so damn much that he went and married a mulatto woman. Think about that. Y’all blindly follow a guy whom you all have elevated as some type of leader in the pro-black & conscious community who claims to go unapologetically hard in the paint for black people…yet, the woman he chooses to settle down & raise a family with is mulatto. This dude probably ran through god knows how many non-mixed black women before settling with his mulatto queen while he preaches that good pro-black “ism” to you daily. Amazing how this works.
