“Drunk In Love” – Beyonce
Beyonce recently released a new album exclusive through iTunes titled Beyonce early Friday morning. The unique aspect about this album is that she didn’t spend any money on marketing and promotion…she basically didn’t tell any of her fans about it & just candidly released it. Fortunately, she’s reached a level of super stardom as to where she can do this and people will still be checking for her….unlike Lupe Fiasco who dropped his album today as well, but ummm…..yeah…Lupe still cool tho.
Beyonce refers to her latest project as a “visual album” with the project consisting of 14 songs & 17 videos.
“I didn’t want to release my music the way I’ve done it. I am bored with that. I feel like I am able to speak to my fans directly. There’s so much that gets between the music, the artist and the fans. I felt like I didn’t want anybody to give the message when my record is coming out. I just want this to come out when it’s ready and from me to my fans.” – Beyonce
